From a spring cake to a successful customer loyalty programme – Migros Bank attracted its customers to its branches with the motto «We share our cake with you».

On behalf of Migros Bank, we, as eventagentur.ch, created a simple and friendly customer loyalty tool. The aim was to have personal discussions with existing customers in all of the bank's Swiss branches.




Following the motto «we share our cake with you», every customer received a direct mailing in form of a spring cake. The addressees were invited to visit their Migros Bank branch, where they had the chance to win instant prices and pick up their «piece of cake». The Migros Bank promotional days achieved a response rate of 17%.

The customer loyalty tool has established itself throughout Switzerland ans is still being used by some branches. It was also used as a customer acquisition tool: Advertisements and flyers asked potential new clients to visit the bank banches to pick up a piece of cake.
